Below are all the areas that appear on the Digivice -25th Color Evolution- along with the Digimon that appear within them. Areas cannot be done out of order, except for Secret areas. The following types of areas exist
- Event - Will result in a short interaction with another partner. Which partner appears is based on the one you currently have chosen. If you have a traveling companion when you reach the end of an event area, you will have a battle with another Digimon instead. The Digimon shown for each Event below is the one that will appear for battles.
- Partner - A type of Event. The only area with a Partner Event is Area 3 of Shibuya on the Tokyo map, where Tailmon is unlocked. After unlocking Tailmon, this area will always result in a battle with Ogremon instead.
- Friend - A type of Event. These are fixed to a specific friend Digimon, and will never result in a battle regardless of whether you have a traveling companion.
- Battle - A simple battle with another Digimon. If you do not win the battle, you will need to retry the area, but with half the distance to cover.
- Boss - A battle with the boss of that location. If you win, the next location will be unlocked, otherwise you will need to retry the area, but with half the distance to cover.
- Secret - Secret areas are randomly unlocked when clearing other non-boss areas within a specific location. The unlocked area will always be for the same location that it was found. If you are having trouble finding a secret area, try going through each non-boss area at that location multiple times with different Digimon, until it unlocks.
Please reference the
manual page for details on how battles, events and traveling companions work. Here are some additional important notes about this guide specifically:
- Unlocking Digimon as Friends - You will unlock a Digimon as a friend following your first successful encounter with it, regardless of it being an event or battle. This includes Digimon encountered during a randomly ocurring Digital Crisis as well.
- Power and Attribute - A Digimon's power and attribute do not have any effect on battle.
- Min Stage - Certain battles will require your Digimon be able to evolve into at least Stage IV or V to even stand a chance.
- Rule - Shows which type of interaction will be required during an attack clash, and how many of that interaction are required to be successful.
- Episode - Just for fun, this column will show you which episodes of Digimon Adventure correspond with a specific location. Episode 21 does not make an appearance.
